Theme for the week: Harvest

This week is promising to be a most delightful one! Cutting and freezing the last of our pears from this year’s harvest is on the to-do list, along with many other things.

I’m off to make that to-do list a little shorter…

    Have you ever tried drying pears? Some varieties don’t dry well, but ones like Bartletts are like candy. Oh, so good!
