Only 35 Feet to Go

Which, incidentally is higher than most people have ever been on a ladder and he is only part way up this 100 foot aerial. I shot this picture today at fire class and yes, I did climb that ladder all the way to the top. :)

About 60 feet up I thought of this verse:

But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
(Isa 40:31)

Yeah. I’m with Lauren. I think about halfway up is when I would have a panic attack and promptly die. Thank you, I will stay on Terra Firma.

Wow that is a long way down… Did you have to wear all your equipment for the climb?
My favorite verse! And a very good promise to claim if you’re half way up and feeling queasy. :)

Thank you all! LOL, Jean, I came pretty close but such a thing would have been unacceptable with a fellow student, who is terrified of heights, watching after even he successfully climbed it.

I am sure they would, Beth, though if they are quite young I am guessing they would freak out half way up. :)

That it was, Corrinne, I was in full turnout gear, like everyone in the photo, but was not wearing breathing apparatus if that is what you are asking.
