I recently received the sweetest belated birthday gift in the mail!  It was evident that the sender put a great deal of thought and love into the gift- from the way it was carefully wrapped, to the beautiful gifts inside.  It started me thinking about how many gifts our Lord has bestowed on us!  He lavishes His bounty on us each and every day, and has given us the greatest gift of all- His son, Jesus Christ.

Have you thanked Him today?

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
