There’s a toad in the hole!

For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, flowing out in the valleys and hills, a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive trees and honey, a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing, a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills you can dig copper.

Deuteronomy 8:7-9

(This may seem like an odd post coming from me – the gluten-free-for-life Six Angles contributor – but I do think it’s quite darling that Mum still makes whole-wheat bread for Dad to enjoy while we are blessed to have an alternative – almond bread.)

My family lives in the gluten-free world as well (actually I’m blessed to be the only member of my 7 family members to have absolutely no problem with gluten, but I still eat gluten free for the most part).

We usually run on rice flour though, but Mom said she would probably try your recipe for almond bread. So thanks for the recipe!

    And great picture to.
