Last weekend, my brother Jonathan and I climbed 12,281′ Mt. Adams, our third Cascade volcano this year. We set up basecamp at about 8,100′ on Friday night and summited the next morning (I shot this image around 4:30am). You can see more photos and read about it here. Praise God for good weather, strength, protection, and volcanoes!
But let all who take refuge in you rejoice;
let them ever sing for joy,
and spread your protection over them,
that those who love your name may exult in you. ~Psalm 5:11

love the light coming from the tent making the snow glisten!
Nice shot, Benjamin! I greatly enjoy all of the mountaineering shots that you have posted on this blog.
Thanks, glad you like them Josiah!
I agree with Josiah. It’s definitely a different side of life I don’t get to see too often!
Looks nice!
