Theme for the week: Lines
As Americans, we are blessed to have the incredibly rich heritage that is ours. Our country’s story of liberty has a vast number of providential narratives and victories that tell of the mercies of God. His protection, grace, and provision are evident in these stories. How thankful we should be to serve such a mighty King!
May you all have a blessed and beautiful Independence Day!
Do you have anything planned?
It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible.
“It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favors.”
–George Washington
When the people fear the government, there is tyranny. When the government fears the people, there is liberty.
–Thomas Jefferson
For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
–Galatians 5:13-14

Wishing the very same for you dear! Love the photo, and have a blessed Independence Day!
The thunder is rolling in as our guests are rolling away…we had our church people over today so that we could regale them with music, a couple of literay interpretations, plenty of food, dancing, and a scavenger hunt–not in that order…fellowship with the body of Christ is such a sweet thing…especially when we have as great a blessing to celebrate and thank God for as this country!
