Hello, my name is Jonathan Hedrick. I am 21 years old and I live in the lush Blue Ridge Mountains in the beautiful state of Virginia with my family of 7. God has blessed me and allowed me to grow up in a Christian home with a strong father and mother and 4 siblings. My youngest sister and brother, God wonderfully brought to us through adoption from China. They are a blessing to our family, and we couldn’t imagine a day without them! I thoroughly enjoy spending time with God, not only in His word and in prayer, but also by spending time in His creation – whether that is by hunting, running, canoeing, camping, or taking time-lapse photography under the night sky. I am a young man seeking God’s will for my life; serving him in the place he has called me.
My interest in photography started about 7 years ago when I received my first film camera. With the purchase if my first DSLR in 2007, I was officially hooked on photography. Subsequently, my passion for photography has grown and I now operate my own photography business, shooting with the Canon 5D Mark II. I look forward to this journey as a learning experience and another great tool to help sharpen my photography skills.
