Theme for the week: Perspective
As I was riding around with Ben, trying to find the perfect “perspective” shot, I found it fun to look at things trying to find a different perspective than that with which we normally would look at it.
Flowers, for instance. They’re on the ground, and we look down on them. Not often do we look up on them. They look much taller when we look at them from below.
And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good.
{Genesis 1:31a}
For the record, here is our new posting schedule:

That’s fine with me – thanks for asking! :)
Hurrah! You are back! :D
I always love ‘looking up’ pictures of flowers. It’s such a beautiful perspective!
So lovely, Emily! I especially love the one on the right. =)
Really nice shots, Emily!
The contrast of these two images is so much fun! It really shows how important perspective is in photography. Plus, the little pinkish-purple flowers are each so beautifully unique looking! Simply lovely, Emily! :)
A change in perspective can be a powerful thing. As humans we tend to get stuck in a rut looking within ourselves for the power to live life, but if we change our perspective to look upward to God we can be filled with His power and let Him be the one to guide us.
Wonderful shot!
