Welcome…

… to the new Six Angles photo blog! This website is the outworking of the collaborative efforts of six young photographers living in different parts of the United States. The plan is for each of us to create a single image each week which will be posted according to the following schedule:

Monday: Emily Rose Brookshire

Tuesday: Nawelle Noor

Wednesday: Lauren Hope

Thursday: Benjamin Berkompas

Friday: Emily Elizabeth Case

Saturday: Josiah Einwechter

To begin this blogging adventure each of us will be introducing ourselves with a portrait and a short bio. In subsequent weeks we hope to do thematic weeks, contests, giveaways, and more. Be sure to subscribe via RSS or E-Mail to take part in this adventure.

That being said, without further ado, I present to you our first photographer, Emily Rose…

~Josiah

Emily Rose Brookshire resides in Indiana with her beloved family, finding true delight in her Savior. The rich beauty in God’s creation inspires her—even each tiny snowflake that praises its Creator.

Her interest in photography started with a fascination of buttons from a young age and has only grown, particularly since she laid hands on her first DSLR. She currently captures her surroundings – from her own angle – with the Nikon D7000. Her favorite lens is the 50mm f/1.4.

Emily Rose enjoys old books, birds, and graphic design, among many other things. She and her sister, Breezy, have a passion for elevating virtue through history and art, which has culminated into their cottage industry, Noble Rose Press.

You can find Emily Rose at www.SimplyVintagegirl.com sharing the joys of life, vintage-goodness, and gluten-free foods.

But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and
through us spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of Him everywhere.

—II Corinthians 2:14

Great picture Emily Rose! your precise use of DOF, combined with the beautiful color grade, enhancing the complimentary color tones of the image, puts the focus solidly on your eyes creating an exemplary portrait.
